Kniveton, St Michael & All Angels

Kniveton, St Michael & All Angels

St Michael and All Angels Church in Kniveton is an attractive small Grade 1 listed building with Norman porch and nave and 14th century chancel. It has an early English font with later inscription. Fragments of early stained glass are to be found in the sanctuary window including the Kniveton family coat of arms. An ancient primitive crucifix of unknown origin iis in the south wall.

Please note that there are steps within the church but a ramp is provided just inside the front door.  Parking is mainly on the main road but is available at the village hall on the weekends.
